This funding for the Penobscot Indian Nation comes specifically through the DOJ\u2019s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).\r\nUnder CTAS, the COPS Office works to meet the most serious needs of tribal law enforcement. The COPS funding can be used to hire or re-hire law enforcement officials, procure equipment, or support training to initiate or enhance local community policing efforts.\r\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.king.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/collins-king-announce-nearly-100000-in-department-of-justice-funding-for-penobscot-indian-nation-"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.3040229678153992, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
