This comes after months of pressure\r\nfrom Senator Manchin to reinstate the machines. When\r\nI first visited the Charleston P&DC, I witnessed firsthand the critical\r\nmail machines that were out of service on orders from Postmaster General DeJoy.\r\nSince then I've pressed DeJoy to allow the Charleston P&DC to reinstate\r\nthese machines, and after a judge ruled changes under DeJoy should be reversed,\r\nthe machines are finally up and running again. This is a step in the right\r\ndirection to ensuring West Virginians and Americans get their Social Security\r\nbenefits, medications, and ballots on time and I applaud the Charleston\r\nP&DC staff for bringing these machines back online, said Senator\r\nManchin.
