Joe Manchin on Wednesday, after writing the senator a letter in which she told him that all she does is \u201cwork, work, work.\u201d\r\n\u201cI need a break,\u201d Sophie wrote to the senator. \u201cCan you please help?\u201d\r\nManchin responded by calling Sophie at school on Wednesday.\r\n\u201cI\u2019m giving you a break right now, that\u2019s why I called you,\u201d Manchin told Sophie in a video of the call Manchin\u2019s office posted online Wednesday. \u201cI wanted you to take a little bit of time off because you work so hard.\u201d\r\nHe doesn\u2019t let the student off that easy, though.
