Nick Rahall (all D-W.Va.), today announced Huntington Junior College has been awarded a federal grant to train and place students in real-time writing careers for captioning services in video programming.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\r\n\u00a0\u201cI truly believe that education is the most important investment we can make for the future of our state and our country,\u201d Manchin said. \u201cThis grant will provide our students at Huntington Junior College with the experience and skills needed to be competitive in the workforce and will help grow and keep jobs in West Virginia.\u201d\r\n\u201cFederal investments in education and workforce training are essential to our State\u2019s economic future.
