The funding will be used to help improve driver behavior and performance, and to reduce deaths and injuries from motor vehicle-related crashes.  \u00a0  \u201cInvesting in our state\u2019s infrastructure is critical to protecting the safety of our drivers, while also laying the foundation for economic growth,\u201d Senator Manchin said. \u201cI am pleased that these funds will help prevent traffic accidents and keep West Virginians and visitors safe.\u201d  \u00a0  \u201cThis grant is great news for West Virginia,\u201d said Senator Rockefeller, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. \u201cImproving the safety of our highways is essential for our drivers and passengers.\u00a0 If we can prevent even one loss of life through this investment, we are moving in the right direction.
