The funding will support all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories by helping eligible households lower utility bills through cost-effective home energy improvements.\n\n\u201cPresident Trump is following through on his commitment to lower energy costs for American families, and today\u2019s announcement is welcome news for Kansas,\u201d said Senator Marshall.\u201cThis funding will help eligible households cut their utility bills through practical, cost-saving improvements while supporting an energy agenda that puts hardworking Kansans and American energy first.\u201d\n\n\u201cWeatherization makes homes safe, efficient, and affordable,\u201d said Ryan Vincent, Executive Director of Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (which administers the state\u2019s Weatherization Assistance Program). \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to work with our network of service providers to keep Kansas homes healthy and comfortable.\u201d\n\nIn addition to the Weatherization funding, DOE is today releasing $64 million in State Energy Program (SEP) funds to the same 56 grantees to pursue programming that ensures energy reliability, availability, security, and cost savings for businesses and residents.
