Claire McCaskill was at Union Station Monday morning to promote breast cancer awareness.\r\nMcCaskill helped unveil Ride KC\u2019s first pink breast cancer awareness bus.\r\nThe senator was diagnosed with breast cancer in February following a routine mammogram. She said she kept putting off the procedure until a colleague finally convinced her to get it done.\r\n\u201cI\u2019m feeling great. I am,\u201d McCaskill said. \u201cI had the kind of cancer that I have to take medication for a decade, but that\u2019s not anything I\u2019m going to complain about. I\u2019m very lucky.\u201d\r\nMcCaskill underwent three weeks of treatment in St. Louis.
