Prominent Democrats say that it must do what they want and not what the laws and Constitution require.\n\n\u201cThey\u2019ve incited violence against the Court. We\u2019ve had to put Justices under 24/7 police protection.\n\n\u201cEven so, a deranged young man is about to go on trial for trying to kill a Justice and his family while they slept in order to change the outcome of a case.\n\n\u201cIn polling last year, the Court was the branch of government with the highest level of trust from the public.\n\n\u201cBut that hasn\u2019t stopped Democrats from devoting the last eight years to an all-out campaign against the Court\u2019s legitimacy \u2013 and ultimately against its very existence.\n\n\u201cRadical liberals have called for court packing.\n\n\u201cInfluential members of this body, including the Senior Senator from Rhode Island and the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, have threatened ominously that \u2018perhaps the Court can heal itself before the public demands it be \u2018restructured\u2019.\n\n\u201cThe Left wages daily warfare against the Justices\u2014 illegally picketing their neighborhoods with impunity, trying to harm their spouses\u2019 careers, and even spying on what kinds of flags they fly in their yards.\n\n\u201cToday, the Biden-Harris Administration \u2013 which desperately wants these radical votes \u2013 is once again jumping into the fray.\n\n\u201cAfter talking to a Harvard Law extremist\u2014who had helped then-Senator Biden stage-manage the character assassination of Robert Bork almost 40 years ago\u2014they\u2019ve decided that the time has come to eliminate the Supreme Court as we know it.\n\n\u201cIn his op-ed, the President says he wants term limits on Justices. Never mind what the Constitution says. Never mind the advice-and-consent role of the Senate. President Biden and his leftist allies don\u2019t like the current composition of the Court so they want to shred the Constitution to change it.\n\n\u201cHe wants what he calls an \u2018ethics code\u2019 \u2013 but that already exists. What the President is actually proposing is a stealth process for people other than Justices to decide cases. Again, Constitution-be-damned.\n\n\u201cThe fact is that President Biden himself came to office and stood up a commission to investigate whether to change the Supreme Court.\n\n\u201cThis morning, the President thanked this commission for its \u2018insightful analysis\u2019 that supposedly informed his reform proposals.\n\n\u201cNever mind that this commission\u2014co-chaired by one of his closest political confidantes\u2014didn\u2019t actually recommend that he do anything!\n\n\u201cOn the contrary it explained, in detail, the challenges posed by hairbrained ideas like term limits. As one of its members noted, quote: \u2018We ought to be really careful about tinkering with [the Supreme Court] because you just don\u2019t know what the consequences could be.\u2019\n\n\u201cWhy is the Biden-Harris Administration so willing to put the crown jewel of our system of government\u2014the independent judiciary\u2014to the torch? Because it stands in their way.\n\n\u201cDon\u2019t take my word for it, they\u2019re running ads about it!\n\n\u201cWith pictures of the Justices on screen, one commercial intones that the Supreme Court has made the President \u2018above the law\u2019 because the former President \u2018asked them to.\u2019\n\n\u201cWhat happened to respecting court decisions?\n\n\u201cThe Biden-Harris Justice Department took an extreme position in the prosecution of their electoral opponent.
