Senator McConnell and Congressman Comer contacted the FAA in support of the discretionary grants, and later contacted the FAA to ensure the complete and timely delivery of funding installments.\n\n\u201cThe supply chains and transit routes that run through our state keep America on the move. By building this new terminal, we are cementing our critical competitive advantage as a national leader in modern transportation infrastructure,\u201d said Senator McConnell. \u201cAs the only congressional leader not from New York or California, I am fully aware of the vital importance of regional hubs like Paducah.
