Each story is important.\r\n\u201cAnd that\u2019s why, this morning, Senate Republicans will share some of those stories\u2026to put a human face to those who\u2019ve suffered as a result of Democrats\u2019 decision to force this law on our country.\r\n\u201cI\u2019ll start off with James Dotson, a constituent of mine from Owensboro. James has Type 2 Diabetes; he recently got a letter informing him that his high-risk pool coverage would expire next month. He says a replacement plan on the Obamacare exchange will cause his premiums to spike from $676 to more than $1,000 a month. And here\u2019s the question he asked me: \u2018Where [are] the savings that the Democrats\u2026promised 3 years ago?\u2019\r\n\u201cJames\u2019 story is another reminder why it\u2019s time for Democrats to work with us \u2013 to repeal this law and start over with bipartisan reform.\r\n\u201cJames is counting on them, and so are millions of others across the country suffering under this law.\u201d", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.mcconnell.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=PressReleases&ContentRecord_id=89f57a80-2c5e-4c68-88e5-a455617dd573"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8711060509085655, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
