I introduced the Consumer Data Privacy and Security Act to establish a fair, federal standard that protects personal data while not overburdening small businesses with unnecessary regulations. Congress needs to quickly act to pass legislation that protects consumers from future data breaches and puts them in control of their information.\u201d Sen.
