Dr. Paul previously requested hearings on this issue in June 2021.\n\nThese renewed requests follow the recent admission by the National Institute of Health (NIH) that it did in fact fund EcoHealth Alliance\u2019s risky virus enhancing research at the Wuhan Lab of Virology, despite Dr. Fauci\u2019s testimony to Congress stating the contrary.\n\n\u201cRegardless of whether the SARS-CoV2 virus came from nature or a lab, it is clear to everyone that lab-made super viruses pose great danger,\u201d said Dr. Paul. \u201cWe need to know how much of this research is happening and what dangers we face.
