As you know, in 2013, the National Security Agency\u2019s (NSA) Office of the Inspector General reported several instances of NSA agents who searched NSA databases for information regarding their spouses and love interests.\n\nJames Madison warned that men are not angels. The exposure of political bias at the FBI is exactly why many of us advocate for greater oversight of the FBI, especially since recently passed legislation leaves FISA Section 702 surveillance largely without checks and balances.\n\nIf openly biased agents such as Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page still have access to classified databases, one might argue that the FBI\u2019s internal controls are inadequate.\n\nSincerely,\n\nSenator Rand Paul, M.D.\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-06-27T22:50:58Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.paul.senate.gov/news-dr-rand-paul-demands-answers-fbi-director/"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8960012346506119, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
