Unfortunately, Director Wray refused to directly answer.\n\n\u201cThe point from those of us who believe we need more privacy control is that we\u2019re concerned that the FBI, thousands of agents across the country, could be looking at conversations about domestic crime or about anything, perhaps, without a warrant,\u201d Dr. Paul stated, later reiterating the importance of maintaining critical constitutional protections to prevent abuse of access to Americans\u2019 sensitive information.\n\n\u201cThat\u2019s why we continue to argue that these [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] databases \u2014 any of these foreign databases \u2014 that if you\u2019re going to look in them \u2026 they should call a judge and get a warrant.
