Peters\u2019 \u201cKalamazoo to the Soo\u201d tour will make stops in Kalamazoo, Wyoming, Traverse City, Sault Ste. Marie, and Sanford. Throughout the tour, Peters will be joined on the ride by veterans, union workers, motorcycle safety advocates, and constituents.\n\n\u201cThere\u2019s no better way to see our beautiful state than on a motorcycle,\u201d said Senator Peters. \u201cI\u2019m grateful for the opportunity this tour brings each year to meet with Michiganders and talk about how, together, we are making our state a better place to work, live, and raise a family. This year, I\u2019m looking forward to our ride from the \u2018Zoo to the Soo.\u2019\u201d\n\n\u201cWe\u2019re going to be talking about everything from protecting workers\u2019 rights, to strengthening Michigan\u2019s defense assets and critical infrastructure, to boosting local economic development and ensuring Michigan communities can quickly recover when struck by disaster,\u201d Peters continued.\n\nPeters will start the tour in Kalamazoo on Wednesday, August 7th and conclude the tour in Sanford on Friday, August 9th.
