Today, U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) welcomed the delay of the Medical Device Tax in the tax extenders package.\r\nOhio is home to many medical device companies and this tax continues to threaten good-paying manufacturing jobs, Portman stated. Im pleased this legislation addresses this issue and will continue to push for a long-term solution to protect these Ohio jobs.\r\nPortman, along with a bipartisan group of Senators, introduced the Medical Device Access and Innovation Protection Act earlier this year.
