They are both impediments to lasting, durable peace. It is time for a drastically new approach in Gaza that significantly boosts humanitarian aid as well as a recommitment to a two-state solution by all parties.\u201d\n\n\u201cPrime Minister Netanyahu\u2019s rejection of the Board of Peace plan sets back a process that took months to build and that Hamas has already conditionally accepted. This is a rejection of the framework itself, made three months before an Israeli election, with aid delivery and regional stability all hanging in the balance.\n\n\u201cThe United States has invested significant diplomatic and military capital in this process. Congress deserves a clear explanation from this administration of what happens next, what leverage the United States still has, and how this rejection affects American forces and interests in the region.
