Betsy has a proven track record of important work to improve the lives of children across the country. She is an outstanding choice to implement the recently passed bipartisan K-12 education reforms that were signed into law and ensure that children, and not politics, remain the focus of education policies during the incoming administration.\r\nBackground: The Senate will consider nominations in a thorough and timely manner as it does its part to ensure a smooth transition between administrations.
