The seminar, co-hosted by Facebook, Zions Bank, and Idaho Small Business Development Center, helped teach local small business owners about resources to optimize their online presence and engage consumers. In introductory remarks, Risch discussed the current regulatory climate for entrepreneurs and highlighted practical ways to promote growth and sustainability for the 28 million small businesses in our nation. It is because small businesses are so important to our local, state, and national economy that Washington needs to do all we can for businesses to start, survive, and grow.\u201d\r\nFollowing Risch\u2019s remarks, a Facebook small business expert presented on the latest Facebook best practices and strategies for success. A question and answer session was later held, featuring a panel of local small business people who shared Facebook tips, tricks and suggestions.
