The bill would enable millions of businesses and individuals to claim the tax breaks on their 2014 returns. It would add nearly $42 billion to the budget deficit over the next decade. It's unclear when the bill will come before the Senate, but Sanders is not a fan. He told WCAX-TV that 65 percent of the credits go to businesses but credits for low-income families were not extended by the bill.
