Hawai\u2018i is among the first states in the country to receive approval for new funding from the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program which will be used to build out and improve broadband infrastructure statewide.\n\n\u201cEveryone in Hawai\u2018i should have access to high-speed internet,\u201d said Senator Schatz. \u201cThis new funding puts us one step closer to achieving that goal by helping expand broadband infrastructure across the state.
