Ted Cruz (R-TX), Maria Cantwell (D-WA), and the conferences\u2014worked to produce comprehensive legislation to protect athletic opportunities for student-athletes and protect the uniquely American institution of collegiate sports.\n\n\u201cSince the very beginning, I have been working closely with the Trump Administration and my Senate colleagues to get the Protect College Sports Act past the finish line.
