The Democrats\u2019 plan puts $45 billion toward enlarging the IRS and hiring thousands of new agents to shake down hardworking Americans. Sen. Scott\u2019s motion would have redirected that money to parents, empowering them to get their children back on track after months \u2014 and in some cases, years \u2014 of learning loss caused by school closures. All 50 Senate Democrats voted against the motion.\n\nClick to watch Sen.
