Rice speaks with Sen. Scott and caucus members\n\n\u201cThroughout the pandemic, school closures highlighted the detrimental impact of reducing parents\u2019 educational options. Yet \u2014 inexplicably \u2014 efforts to lock parents out of the conversation have only accelerated,\u201d said Senator Scott. \u201cI\u2019ve often said a good education is the closest thing to magic in this country, providing a lifeline for kids who feel stuck in poverty, as I did.
