South Carolina is home to eight of the nation\u2019s HBCUs, and this funding includes nearly $10 million for universities across the state.\n\n\u201cSouth Carolina\u2019s HBCUs have a long history of preparing generations of successful leaders,\u201d said Sen. Scott. \u201cThis investment is a testament to President Trump and Secretary McMahon\u2019s commitment to supporting institutions that advance opportunity and prepare students for success.
