Sinema has been advocating for a long-term renewal of the Bank, which helped 37 Arizona businesses finance more than $57 million in exports, creating good jobs in Arizona and growing the state's economy.\nOur bipartisan renewal of the Export-Import Bank helps Arizona employers sell more products overseas, create more jobs at home, and it represents a step away from Congress's usual short-term crisis management, said Sinema, a member of the Senate Banking Committee. \nSinema led the effort in the U.S. Senate with Republican Senator Kevin Cramer (N.D.) to support Arizona jobs and increase business opportunities by introducing a bipartisan 10-year reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank. The Export-Import Bank helped Arizona businesses finance $2 billion in exports over the last five years, creating good jobs in the state while closing the trade deficit with countries like China.
