Students receiving Udall's nomination completed a competitive application process, which included interviewswith the senator's Military AcademyServicePanels,comprised of active dutyservicemembers, veterans and community leaders.\r\nNew Mexico has a long and proud tradition of service, and it is an honor to support this next generation of leaders thatI have nominated to theserviceacademiesthis year,said Udall.The United Statesserviceacademiesprovide a top-notch education and unparalleled opportunities for students to excel in both military and civilian life. And I am confident that these exceptional young peoplewhohave demonstrated strong leadership in both their academic and extracurricular activities, along with a commitment to serve will make New Mexico proud. They represent some ofour state'sbest and brightest, and I wish them luck as they move on to the next phase of the admissions process.\r\nNominated students will now compete for admission to theirserviceacademy over the coming months.
