Senator Tuberville also responded to New York City Mayor Eric Adams expressing willingness to work with the incoming Trump administration.\n\nRead excerpts from the interview below or watch on YouTube or Rumble.\n\nON NOMINATION OF KASH PATEL TO BE FBI DIRECTOR:\n\nMacDONALD: \u201cJoining us now from Senate Armed Services is Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville. Senator, it\u2019s great to see you again. What is your reaction when you hear that? I mean, the President is saying he wants the Justice Department, the FBI, to go after crime [which is] hurting Americans, not political rivals.\u201d\n\nTUBERVILLE: \u201cFAKE Bureau of Investigation, Liz. We\u2019re going to have a new one. Christopher Wray will be gone. Kash Patel will be in. Pam Bondi is good friends with Kash Patel\u2014they will work very well together. The American people are scared to death of the FBI. They\u2019ve been weaponized. They\u2019ve been going after people\u2014not just President Trump, but all of his, a lot of his people\u2014his friends, matter of fact\u2014and pushing people to the limit. They have done things by going into homes at six in the morning, waking people up. It\u2019s absolutely amazing what they\u2019ve done and and they\u2019re dead wrong about it, and Christopher Wray will be gone. He\u2019ll actually get out himself. But we\u2019ll have a new FBI director.\u201d\n\nMacDONALD: \u201cYeah. You know, anecdotally, we spoke to millennial voters. Even millennial voters say they don\u2019t feel comfortable with the Justice Department, just picking and choosing who they\u2019re gonna go after politically.\u201d\n\nON MEETING WITH LINDA McMAHON:\n\nMacDONALD: \u201cSo, you met with Linda McMahon, the incoming nominee for the Education Department. Your reaction to that?\u201d\n\nTUBERVILLE: \u201cVery good. She\u2019s well qualified. As you well know, I spent 35 years in the education business. Our education is in trouble, like everything else. We\u2019re 27th in the world in education. She\u2019s big on homeschool. She\u2019s big on school choice. We need to do something with, obviously, with Title IX\u2014men in women\u2019s sports. We\u2019ve got to get back to educating and teaching math, English, all the things that kids need to do. [\u2026] I\u2019m very impressed with her, I think she\u2019ll do a great job.\u201d\n\nMacDONALD: \u201cSenator, there\u2019s also this. So, a lot of work needs to be done, right? And, you know, the big one here in New York City and in cities nationwide\u2014it\u2019s about Democrats allowing for the sanctuary status to stay to protect criminal illegal aliens. We\u2019re talking rapists, kidnappers, murderers\u2014and listen to New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Senator, he now says he wants to get rid of New York City\u2019s sanctuary status. Watch this.\u201d [\u2026]\n\nTUBERVILLE: \u201cWell, good for him. I tell you, he\u2019s really changed his attitude since President Trump got elected. The sanctuary cities have devastated these cities, and if you go back to what we were talking about a little bit earlier, sanctuary cities have destroyed the education for young people in these cities. And again, we love all kids. We want all kids to be educated. But exactly what Eric Adams is saying\u2014they have no chance in these sanctuary cities because healthcare has gone through the roof. We\u2019re spending billions of dollars, and kids do not have a chance. Discipline in the schools has gone out the door, and we have no opportunities for these kids to learn in a great environment.\u201d\n\nMacDONALD: \u201cTrump\u2019s trying to change it.
