He remembers watching the Twin Towers fall while sitting in government class on September 11, 2001. But Patrick\u2019s desire to serve was unmoved.\u201d\n\n\u201cWhen the COVID pandemic hit, he realized how great the need was to help veterans struggling with mental health. What began as a weekly virtual check-in with fellow soldiers, started a fulltime mission to help fellow veterans and their families. Patrick purchased a RV, traveling across 43 states before deciding to settle down in Baldwin County. Although not originally from Alabama, when Patrick discovered the region\u2019s patriotic spirit, he decided it was the perfect place to call home. He founded the Warrior Legacy Ranch to provide support to veterans struggling with their mental health. He has been a leader in fighting to prevent veteran suicides and expanding the sense of community for veterans\u2014specifically those who served post 9/11. Patrick\u2019s efforts have not only helped veterans in Alabama but all across the nation.
