Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine released the following statement on the White House nomination of Hannah Lauck to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia:\r\n\u201cJudge Lauck has an exemplary record as a prosecutor and a magistrate judge, and I was pleased to support her nomination to the federal bench,\u201d Sen. Warner said.\u00a0\r\n\u201cI was proud to recommend Hannah for this position and am pleased the President has chosen to nominate her,\u201d said Sen. Kaine \u00a0\u201cHannah\u2019s many years of experience in the Eastern District \u2013 both as a Magistrate Judge and an Assistant U.S. Attorney has prepared her well for this post. I look forward to doing everything I can to ensure a smooth confirmation process for her in the Senate.\u201d\r\nLauck has been a United States Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia since 2005.\u00a0 Previously, she worked as a Supervising Attorney at Genworth Financial, Inc. from 2004 to 2005.\u00a0 From 1994 to 2004, she was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia.\u00a0 Judge Lauck worked in private practice at Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky from 1992 to 1994 and began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge James R.
