The panel approved Mississippi Supreme Court Justices Robert Chamberlin and James Maxwell for positions on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi. The committee also approved James \u2018Baxter\u2019 Kruger and Scott Leary, nominees for United States Attorney for Mississippi\u2019s southern and northern districts, respectively.\n\n\u201cI am pleased that President Trump\u2019s nominations to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi and for the state\u2019s U.S. Attorneys have passed the Senate Judiciary Committee.
