The Veterans Administration\u2019s (VA) 2017 Hospital Star Rating gave the G.V. \u201cSonny\u201d Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson two stars out of five.\u00a0 The Gulf Coast VA Medical Center in Biloxi received one star.\u00a0 \u201cI am concerned about the performance of Mississippi\u2019s two major medical centers,\u201d Wicker wrote. \u201cThese results are especially disappointing since 64 percent of VA facilities showed improvement over last year.\u201d \u201cMississippi veterans\u2026deserve better than two-star and one-star medical centers. VA has a responsibility to help each medical center identify and implement performance improvement measures.
