Applications were received from 150 Hoosier students, and a select group of students was interviewed by an advisory board that was chosen by Senator Young. Out of 80 offered interviews, 44 exemplary young men and women from across Indiana received a nomination to at least one service academy from Senator Young.

A nomination does not guarantee admission to a service academy, but is required in order to be considered. Nominees are chosen based on personal merit. Criteria considered include evidence of character, leadership, academic excellence, physical aptitude, and extracurricular activities.

“This year, I had the privilege of recommending a talented group of 44 Hoosiers for admission to the United States service academies,” said Senator Young.“These young men and women are highly qualified to serve our country, and I’m very proud of their hard work. I wish them the best of luck in their application process.”

Senator Young’s service academy nominees are listed below:

United States Air Force Academy

Caroline Crews

Roncalli High School

*Also nominated to the United States Military Academy

Isaac Going

Columbus East High School

*Also nominated to the United States Naval Academy

Allison Heine

Homestead High School

*Also nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the United States Merchant Marine Academy

Roman Heller

Center Grove High School

*Also nominated to the United States Military Academy

Daniel Larsen

Zionsville Community High School

Noah Lorincz

Westfield High School

Jacen Madeira

Bloomington High School North

*Also nominated to the United States Military Academy

Daniel Michael

Cathedral High School

*Also nominated to the United States Military Academy

Cameron Reddick

Lake Central High School

Jonathan Schumann

Zionsville Community High School

Marshall Snyder

Heritage Hills High School

Michael Solymosi

John Glenn High School

Diego Stanis Farias

Avon High School

*Also nominated to the United States Naval Academy

Jacob Trueblood

Taylor High School

Taylor Zhang

Carmel High School

*Also nominated to the United States Military Academy

United States Merchant Marine Academy

Brennan Baker

Hamilton Southeastern High School

Lydia Korzekwa

Lawrence North High School

Jacob Kyle

Penn High School

Hayden Oberlin

Concordia Lutheran High School

Ethan Podlesak

Plymouth High School

Bobby Scott

Crown Point High School

Parker St. John

Roncalli High School

Dalton Strange

Loogootee High School

Christian Touzard

Academia Interamericana de Panamá

United States Military Academy

Owen Buccellato

Trinity Academy South Bend

Tobin Busch

La Lumiere School

Caleb Haney

Westfield High School

Talon Jessup

Columbus East High School

Bentley Jones

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School

Quentin Klee

Guerin Catholic High School

*Also nominated to the United States Naval Academy

Connor Pugh

Hamilton Southeastern High School

*Also nominated to the United States Naval Academy

Evan Roudebush

Bloomington High School South

Josette Sandifur

Bishop Chatard High School

Declan Squires

Culver Academies

United States Naval Academy

Courtney Bassi

Guerin Catholic Highschool

Danica Geyer

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School

Lincoln Greene

Corydon Central High School

Andrew Millay

Our Lady of Providence High School

Ian Miller

Seeger Memorial Junior Senior High School

Nevaeh Navarre

Culver Academies

Jack O’Shea

Marian Catholic High School

Rebecca Rustin

Western Boone Jr-Sr. Highschool

Amber Summers

Corydon Central High School

Ellie Walker

Crawfordsville High School", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T20:09:11Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://www.young.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/senator-young-announces-nominees-for-united-states-service-academies-7/
