This proposal from the Biden-Harris administration is a clear violation of Americans\u2019 financial privacy,\u201d said Senator Young. \u201cMy Republican colleagues and I introduced the Prohibiting IRS Financial Surveillance Act to protect law-abiding, tax-paying citizens\u2019 confidential banking information from being handed over to the IRS.\u201d\n\nOn Oct. 19, Senator Young joined a group of Republican Senators to discuss the Democrats\u2019 IRS bank reporting proposal.
