EnQ charges premiums as high as $1,000 per year.\n\n\u201cEnQ\u2019s service creates a two-tiered system for taxpayers seeking to access assistance from the IRS. It also may exacerbate the poor response rates at the IRS it purports to address,\u201d wrote the senators.\n\n\u201cBeing able to call the IRS is a free, public service that should be available on an equal basis.
