This is the fifth individual appropriations bill House Republicans have passed, the Senate has failed to pick up one.\n\nCongressman Zinke released the following statement following the passage of the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act:\n\n\u201cIf you ask any Montanan, they\u2019ll tell you that whiskey is for drinking and water is for fighting. This bill was written with those Montanans in frontside focus, it authorizes more than a hundred million toward rural water projects and redirects the Bureau of Reclamation and Army Corps of Engineers\u2019 time away from Biden\u2019s culture and climate wars. There\u2019s no time for them to sit in training about CRT and DEI.
