Rodney will not only be remembered as our champion for education, but he will also be remembered as a true fighter for equality and as a dedicated and devoted family man. The love he had for his wife and children was an inspiration to us all.\u00a0 His loss will be felt throughout our entire state.\u00a0 North Carolina has lost one of her greatest leaders.
