{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://adriansmith.house.gov/press-release/smith-again-collecting-cards-holiday-mail-heroes-program-0", "Smith Again Collecting Cards for Holiday Mail for Heroes Program", "2013-11-07", "2013", "2013-11", "Republican", "House", "NE", "Adrian Smith", "S001172", "adriansmith.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) is once again helping to collect cards for the Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program which gives Americans the opportunity to send holiday greetings and thanks to servicemembers, veterans and their families around the world.\n\u201cDuring this Christmas and holiday season, I hope Nebraskans will again join with me to show our gratitude to our nation\u2019s heroes around the world.\u00a0 The Holiday Mail for Heroes program is a great opportunity to support the men and women defending our nation and our veterans.\u201d\nSmith\u2019s district offices in Scottsbluff and Grand Island will serve as collection points for constituents to drop off postage free cards until Monday, December 2, 2013.\nTo ensure cards reach their destination, the following guidelines apply:\n Ensure all cards are signed.\nUse generic salutations such as \u201cTo American Hero.\u201d \u00a0Cards addressed to specific individuals cannot be delivered through this program.\nOnly cards are being accepted. \u00a0Do not send or include letters.\nDo not include email or home addresses on the cards: the program is not meant to foster pen pal relationships.\nDo not include inserts of any kind, including photos: these items will be removed during the reviewing process.\nPlease refrain from choosing cards with glitter or using loose glitter as it can aggravate health issues of ill and injured warriors.\nIf you are mailing a large quantity of cards, please bundle them and place them in large mailing envelopes or flat rate postal shipping boxes. \u00a0Each card does not need its own envelope, as envelopes will be removed from all cards before distribution.\n All holiday greetings should be dropped off at either of Smith\u2019s offices or addressed and sent to:\nHoliday Mail for Heroes\nP.O.
