Hastings (D-FL) released the following statement in response to yesterdays Senate vote to repeal the core pillars of theAffordable Care Act:  \r\n  \r\nIt is absolutely outrageous that the Republicans are continuing their attempts to roll back health care benefits for millions of Americans. The Republican-led House has voted more than 60 times to repeal all or part of the law, and now the Senate has jumped on the same tired bandwagon. \r\nFor seniors and those with disabilities across the nation, over 5.1 million have saved $3.2 billion on their prescription drugs. Yet, Republicans continue to play politics with our nations health care system. Congress needs to get back to the business of helping our nations most vulnerable, as opposed to trying to push them to the winds of despair. The American people deserve better.  \r\n\r\nCongressman Alcee L.
