I can\u2019t remember the number of times I had to forego a paycheck to make sure my employees and vendors got paid, and the company stayed afloat. Members of Congress need to do the same,\u201d said Congressman Collins.\n\u00a0\n\u201cThat\u2019s why I sponsored the Government Shutdown Fairness Act, to hold Congress accountable and to the same standard families and small businesses are held to everyday. Until we do our job and get the government running again, we don\u2019t get paid.
