As a result, subscribers will face, on average, a 44.8 percent increase in premiums. The changes will impact approximately 17,000 Rochester-area subscribers and 19,800 people across the state.\n\u201cThe negative effects of Obamacare are once again impacting individuals and their families,\u201d said Congressman Collins. \u201cThe dramatic premium increases and cancelled coverages are going to continue because, simply put, the President\u2019s law does not work. It is burdensome on consumers and businesses, harmful to seniors, and unfortunately, we are just beginning to see the full extent of its negative consequences.
