Grose Lecture in partnership with the Southern Studies department at the University of South Carolina. \u00a0\u00a0\nThe lecture will begin at 6pm in the Booker T. Washington Auditorium, 1400 Wheat Street, on Wednesday, March 19.\nThe event is free and open to the public.\u00a0\nThe Philip G. Grose Lecture in Southern Studies honors Phil Grose, who was a longtime research associate with the University of South Carolina's Institute for Southern Studies. He was \u00a0the author of two books \u2014\u00a0South Carolina at the Brink: Robert McNair and the Politics of Civil Rights\u00a0and\u00a0Looking for Utopia: The Life and Times of John C.
