Cuellars Bill to Rename Tilden Post Office Passes House", "2017-11-15", "2017", "2017-11", "Democrat", "House", "TX", "Henry Cuellar", "C001063", "cuellar.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) today announced the successful passage of H.R. 1207, a bill he authored to rename the post office located at 306 River Street in Tilden, Texas, as the \u201cTilden Veterans Post Office.\u201d The bill passed the House and is now awaiting approval from the U.S. Senate.Speaking today on the House floor, Congressman Cuellar stressed the importance of naming this post office in honor of all veterans. \u201cAcross my district, there are many examples of fine men and women who have honorably served our country,\u201d Congressman Cuellar said. \u201cAn example would be Anselmo Villareal of Tilden, Texas. He was drafted into the Army in 1968 and served a tour in Vietnam. He continues to serve others in a local veteran\u2019s service organization.
