The bill was passed with bipartisan support from the Senate and House of Representatives. She applauded the signing of the Cures Act and is grateful for the support of the mental health advocates who encouraged her to continue fighting for mental health reform.\n\u201cThe 21st Century Cures Act is a step forward for biomedical research and will spur innovation to discover new treatments and cures,\u201d said Congresswoman Johnson. \u201cI am so proud to see much of the framework of the Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act enacted into law today.
