A diverse panel of leaders active in the veterans\u2019 community assisted in the review and selection of high school students from across Connecticut\u2019s 5th Congressional District.\n\n\t\u201cI am incredibly impressed by the caliber of the students who applied for military academy nominations this year,\u201d Esty said. \u201cIt\u2019s inspiring to see so many of our young women and men eager to serve our country and defend our nation\u2019s freedom.
