Goldwater Post Office\u201d:\r\r\u201cFor the third time in as many weeks, I am extremely pleased to see the Senate pass one of my sponsored bills, this time, honoring one of Arizona\u2019s greatest public servants, Barry Goldwater. It\u00a0is only\u00a0appropriate\u00a0that my bill\u00a0should be signed into law this year during\u00a0the fiftieth anniversary of the five-term Arizona Senator\u2019s campaign for the Presidency of the United States.\r\r\u201cBarry Goldwater\u2019s influence on American history and politics cannot be understated. He paved the way for the modern Conservative movement while continuing to fight for the principals passed down to us from the founding fathers including advocating for limited government and protecting individual liberty. Above all else, regardless of political ideology, Barry Goldwater will always be remembered for his integrity and patriotism. Over 100 Arizona residents signed a petition to rename the Miller Valley Road post office.
