Jones (NC-03), along with 87 other Republican Senators and Members of Congress, filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth District calling for the Obama administration\u2019s destructive Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule to be struck down. This rule, proposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), would dramatically expand the federal government\u2019s regulatory authority over ditches, ponds and other small non-federal bodies of water on private property.
