Jones (NC-03) is calling on the National Park Service to find long-term solutions to the flooding that has affected Buxton and Frisco in recent years.\u00a0 The Park Service is currently\u00a0 in a period of public scoping to get the public\u2019s feedback on potential solutions to address the issue.\u00a0 The Park Service is accepting comments through November 20th.\u00a0\nIn a letter sent to Cape Hatteras National Seashore Superintendent Dave Hallac on Wednesday, Congressman Jones said: \u201cOver the past several years, visitors\u2019 access to popular parts of the seashore has been impaired by flooding on many occasions. I know you have done your best to use the tools at your immediate disposal to provide temporary relief, and I am grateful for your help.\u00a0 However, we all acknowledge that long-term solutions are needed.
