Jones (NC-3) received the Constitution Award for scoring 100 percent on The New American\u2019s Freedom Index. The Freedom Index is \u201ca congressional scorecard that rates every member of the House and Senate based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements.\u201d Jones was one of only seven House Republicans to receive a perfect score.
