Representative Ann McLane Kuster (NH-02), along with her colleagues Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL-27), Gus Bilirakis (FL-12), Alcee L. Hastings (FL-20), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23), Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24), and Ted Deutch (FL-21) introduced the resolution.  \n\t\u00a0  \n\tJames Foley, a New Hampshire native, and Steven Sotloff, a Florida native and graduate of Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH, were working in Syria when they were brutally murdered by the terrorist organization.  \n\t\u00a0  \n\tThe resolution recognizes the substantial achievements Foley and Sotloff made \u201cthrough their courageous reporting of events in Libya, Syria and elsewhere,\u201d and calls on ISIL to release all other hostages.  \n\t\u00a0  \n\t\u201cOur resolution expresses the condolences of the House of Representatives to the families of James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and condemns the terrorist acts of ISIL.
